Tea Tree Oil

The tea tree oil is an excellent remedy because it stops the bacteria that causes sebum and makes our hair oily. Tea tree oil is a good cure for scalp acne and dandruff as well. Just mix 15 drops of tea tree oil in about 30ml of a carrier oil like coconut oil or jojoba oil and apply it to your scalp. Wash this off after one hour. Do this at least 2 times a week to see results.

Apple Cider Vinegar

The acetic acid in ACV helps restore the balance of your scalp thereby controlling the excretion of oil from it. Mix about 2 tablespoons of apple coder vinegar with a cup of water. After you’ve washed and conditioned your hair, rinse your scalp with this mix and then after a few minutes rinse your hair with cold water. Doing this 3-4 times a week will start giving you results.

Aloe Vera

This is another natural ingredient that is great for your scalp health. Mix two teaspoons of aloe vera gel with a tablespoon of lemon juice and add to this a cup of water. After shampooing your hair, rinse your scalp with this mixture and then wash with cold water after a couple of minutes.

Baking Soda

The alkaline nature of baking soda is excellent for balancing the pH of your scalp and thus effectively reducing the oily scalp problem. Just sprinkle baking soda all over your scalp and comb your hair to get it to spread evenly. Afterwards, just shampoo your hair as you normally would. Do this twice a week.
