While some store bought face masks really do work, they’re just way too expensive. The best face masks can be made at home with a few simple ingredients. And because the ingredients are all natural, they work wonders for your skin!

We are sharing a face mask for each skin type with you guys today

Acne Prone, Discolored Skin

Acne is your skin’s worst enemy. It leaves behind scars and causes rash and discoloration too. The following mask will help you reduce the effects of acne and go towards a more even toned skin:

Honey-Lemon Mask

  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 lemon juice

Mix the two together and apply to your face for 10-15 minutes. Wash with a wet towel and rinse your face with luke warm water

Oily Skin

Oily skin is everyone’s worst nightmare but there are things you can do to stop your skin type from making your life hell. People with oily skin need to take extra care about the products they use on their face. The below mask will help you guys a lot:

Banana, Orange and Honey Mask

  • A ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • An orange

Blend these together and apply on your face. Let dry before you clean up. If oranges are out of season, you can replace them with lemon.

Dry Skin

If you have a dry skin, you are well familiar with the problems that come with it. Dry patches, cracks and rash are very common. Especially in winters, your skin is your biggest concern. The mask below should help you control the dryness:

Coconut Oil Avocado Mask

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp honey

Take these and blend together and apply on your face. Leave it to dry and then wash away with warm water. You will notice the difference!

Combination Skin

Combination skin is kind of like the worst of both worlds. You suffer from dry patches and break outs, cracks and discoloration and you cannot treat one without making the other worse. Here’s a mask that would help you take care of this scary skin type:

Banana Oatmeal Mask

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp honey

Blend them together and apply to your face. Clean up when the mask dries up!

Normal Skin

Just because your skin type is normal doesn’t mean you shouldn’t apply face masks or just let your skin be. Your skin still needs some pampering and care and the mask below will allow you to do just that:

Apple Mask

  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp honey

Blitz them together and apply to your face in an even layer. Wash it up when it dries!
